Introduction
Rosemary Works School is a non-selective day school for girls and boys aged 3 to 11. The main points of entry are at age three into our pre-school Nursery Class, and at age four, into Reception Class. We also have places available in other year groups from time to time.
Parents who would like their child to join the school within 12 months of enquiry are encouraged to contact the school to find out if places are available.
Entry to Pre-School Nursery Class
Places in Nursery Class are guaranteed for children who wish to move up from the Rosemary Works EYC. We also have a number of places available for new families wishing to join the primary school. All that is required to secure a place in Nursery Class is to complete the normal process of application for the school, notifying us of your wish to begin in Nursery Class, and a place will be reserved accordingly.
Entry to the School
Places at Rosemary Works are offered on a first come first served basis, once priority places have been allocated to siblings of pupils currently attending the school, and to children currently attending our Nursery Class and the EYC.
The process for accepting places starting in Reception Class commences in September one year prior to entry, so parents are encouraged to ensure that have visited the school and registered their child at the earliest opportunity.
The school maintains a waiting list for applicants who were not offered a place in the first round of offers, and parents of children on the waiting list will be contacted immediately if a place becomes available.
Entry in Older Year Groups
Families wishing to join the school in Year One and above should visit the school and apply as normal. If a place is available, a taster day will be organised for the child to visit the school, and an offer of a place will be made if the Head deems an offer to be suitable.
